Development & Affordability Info
Mill River Crossing is part of a multi-phase revitalization of the former Farnam Courts site. Phase I created 94 residential rental units, achieving Certificate of Occupancy on May 31, 2018. Of those 94 units, a minimum of 86 units are designated as RAD Project Based Voucher (PBV) affordable units; the remaining 8 units were set aside as market rate. Funding for the development includes 4% Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), federal HOME funds, state bond funds, city capital funds, and private financing. Residents in the affordable units pay no more than 30% of their adjusted annual income toward rent.
